Founded in 2000 by Artistic Director Katrine Raymond, Paraphrased Productions first produced musical theatre before expanding to include a wide variety of theatrical projects, which recently have included commissioned pieces and site specific theatre, along with more traditional theatre pieces. Paraphrased Productions has been comprised of many different members over its numerous productions, but the model has always been the same: capturing the commonality of different voices through experimentation and innovation. Blending both experienced and emerging theatre makers, united by a similar philosophy, Paraphrased Productions is about good storytelling and capturing the kernel of truth at the centre of a story.
